Focus Essential Oil Reed Diffuser

Focus is my fresh, citrusy and herbal blend of six pure essential oils. I created it for daytime use, particularly when I'm working or need a change of atmosphere.

I love having fragrance around me during the day, but I don't always want to light a candle or remember to use a room spray. A reed diffuser provides a continuous background scent, making it particularly useful in a home office, study or living room.

Each Focus diffuser is handmade by me in small batches near Stroud in the Cotswolds.

The Focus scent

Focus combines six pure essential oils, each contributing something different to the fragrance.

• Lemon and pink grapefruit: Fresh, bright citrus notes that give Focus its cheerful opening.

• Rosemary: A distinctive herbal note that works particularly well with the citrus oils.

• Eucalyptus and peppermint: Cool, refreshing notes that give the blend its crisp character.

• Frankincense: A warmer, resinous note that adds depth and balances the fresher oils.

The result is a lively citrus and herbal fragrance that I particularly enjoy during the day.

Why choose a reed diffuser?

A reed diffuser is an easy way to keep a room scented without a flame or having to spray it regularly.

I particularly like diffusers in rooms where I spend a lot of time, as the fragrance becomes a subtle part of the background.

If you prefer an occasional burst of fragrance, there's also a Focus Room Spray. I use mine when I'm working and nearly always give the car a quick spritz before a journey.

How to use your Focus diffuser

Place your diffuser on a stable surface in your chosen room and insert the reeds. They'll gradually absorb the fragrance and release it into the air.

The reeds are made from recycled materials and don't need turning.

You can use fewer reeds if you prefer a lighter fragrance. Keep the diffuser away from direct sunlight, heat and draughts, and protect surfaces from any spills.

A 100ml diffuser typically lasts around 3–6 months, depending on its position, room temperature and airflow. Some last longer.

Refills and replacement reeds

Already have a Focus diffuser? You can buy a 100ml refill in an amber glass bottle, ready to pour into your existing diffuser bottle.

The complete diffuser comes in a heavy glass bottle with three extra-thick black reeds made from recycled materials.

Replacement reeds are also available if you need them or want to change fragrances.
