Sleep Easy Essential Oil Reed Diffuser

I love having fragrance in my bedroom, and my Sleep Easy reed diffuser is a lovely way to enjoy the scent throughout the day and night without having to spray anything or light a candle.

I make Sleep Easy with my own blend of lavender, chamomile, neroli and patchouli essential oils. It's a soft floral fragrance with a little warmth underneath, and one I've spent years developing and refining.

Unlike a pillow mist, which gives you an immediate burst of fragrance, a reed diffuser releases its scent gradually into the room. I particularly like having mine beside the bed as part of my bedtime routine.

The Sleep Easy scent

Each essential oil has a part to play in the blend:

• Neroli: A soft, sweet floral top note.

• Lavender and chamomile: The familiar floral heart of Sleep Easy.

• Patchouli: A warm, earthy base note that gives the fragrance depth.

Together they create a fragrance that's softer and more rounded than lavender on its own. In fact, people who tell me they don't usually like lavender are often surprised by how much they like Sleep Easy.

How to use your reed diffuser

Remove the stopper and place the three reeds into the bottle. They'll gradually absorb the blend and release its fragrance into the room.

The reeds are made from recycled materials and don't need turning, so there's very little maintenance involved.

For best results, place your diffuser somewhere it won't be knocked over, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and draughts.How long does a Sleep Easy reed diffuser last?

Each diffuser contains 100ml and typically lasts around 3–6 months, sometimes longer.

How long yours lasts will depend on factors including room temperature, airflow, humidity and where you position it.

Refills and replacement reeds

Already have a Sleep Easy diffuser? You can buy a 100ml refill in an amber glass bottle, ready to pour into your existing diffuser bottle.

The complete diffuser comes in a heavy glass bottle with three extra-thick black reeds made from recycled materials.

Replacement reeds are also available if you need them or want to change fragrances.
